With Thea's books, it doesn't matter which book you pick up first, all of them are excellent and I highly recommend any of them (my favorite is SINFUL SECRETS).
Some other authors that I highly recommend are Robin Schone and Susan Johnson. There are also two anthologies that are absolutely excellent (Fascinated and Captivated)written by Bertrice Small, Susan Johnson, Thea Devine, and Robin Schone.
I too have read Anne Rice's Beauty Anthology and think that it is excellent. Anne Rice also write under the name Anne Rambling, I believe, and the two books are EXIT TO EDEN and BELINDA. They are also pretty good.
